بدعم من السفارة السويسرية في العراق " منظمة إشراقات للتنمية" تنظم جلسة توعية حول الثقافة البيئية والزراعة الذكية في محافظة الديوانية
نظّمت منظمة إشراقات للتنمية، وبدعم من السفارة السويسرية في العراق، جلسة توعية متخصصة بعنوان "الثقافة البيئية والزراعة الذكية مناخيًا"، وذلك في مركز محافظة الديوانية بتاريخ 23 نيسان 2025، ضمن إطار مشروعها المستمر "معًا من أجل بيئة مستدامة"، الذي يهدف إلى تعزيز الوعي البيئي وتطوير الثقافة البيئية في محافظتي المثنى والديوانية.
استهدفت الجلسة شريحة المزارعين في مركز المحافظة، وسلطت الضوء على أهمية تبنّي أساليب الزراعة الذكية لمواجهة التحديات المناخية المتزايدة. وقد نُفذت الفعالية بالتعاون مع مديرية زراعة الديوانية، وتولى إدارتها المهندس علي كريم، مسؤول قسم التخطيط والمتابعة في المديرية، الذي استعرض أبرز الممارسات الحديثة في الزراعة المستدامة وآثارها على الأمن الغذائي وحماية الموارد الطبيعية.
With Support from the Swiss Embassy: "Ishraqat for Development" Organizes Awareness Session on Environmental Culture and Climate-Smart Agriculture in Diwaniyah
Ishraqat for Development Organization, with support from the Swiss Embassy in Iraq, organized a specialized awareness session titled "Environmental Culture and Climate-Smart Agriculture" on April 23, 2025, in the center of Diwaniyah province. The session is part of the ongoing project "Together for a Sustainable Environment", which aims to promote environmental awareness and enhance ecological knowledge in the communities of Muthanna and Diwaniyah provinces.
The session targeted local farmers in the city center and focused on the importance of adopting smart agricultural practices to address the growing challenges of climate change. The event was held in cooperation with the Diwaniyah Directorate of Agriculture, and was led by Eng. Ali Kareem, Head of the Planning and Monitoring Department, who presented key insights on sustainable agriculture practices and their role in safeguarding natural resources and ensuring food security.
