بالشراكة مع المركز الدولي للقوانين غير الربحية ( ICNL) , اقامت منظمة تواصل لتمكين الشباب ورشة تدريبية (تمكين المنظمات غير الحكومية ) لمحافظات (البصرة والمثنى و ميسان ) على قاعة سراج المعرفة في البصرة لثلاثة أيام 23-25 كانون الثاني يناير 2025 .
حضر رئيس منظمة اشراقات للتنمية ثائر عبدالخالق العبادي الورشة التي تناولت عدد من المحاور أهمها : الأطر القانونية لتكوين الجمعيات ,اسباب ضعف وصول المنظمات غير الحكومية الى التمويل بسبب القيود التي تفرضها مجموعة العمل المالي (FATF) التوصية رقم ثمانية .كذلك تناولت الورشة : أهمية تقييم المخاطر التي تلعب دوراً حاسماً في اتخاذ القرار من خلال مساعدة المنظمات على توقع التحديات وتحديد أولويات المخاطر وتخصيص الموارد بشكل فاعل .
ركزت الورشة على دور مجموعة العمل المالي(FATF) وتوصيتها الثامنة التي تتناول قطاع المنظمات غير الحكومية والاستخدام المحتمل للمنظمات كأداة لغسيل الأموال وتمويل الإرهاب .
كما استعرضت الورشة , تجارب ونماذج من دول العالم وفق آليات مختلفة , وفرص الاستفادة من دراستها واستلهام الخبرات . وكذلك تكتيكات المدافعة وتطوير آليات المشاركة للمنظمات غير الحكومية ,وناقشت وظائف وتحديات عملية المدافعة وبناء تقنيات المشاركة الفاعلة في المجتمع . وتبادل المشاركين في الورشة من رؤساء وممثلي المنظمات غير الحكومية تجاربهم وخبراتهم في العمل المدني مع الآخرين .

In partnership with the International Center for Not-for-Profit Law (ICNL), Tawasul Youth Empowerment Organization held a training workshop (Empowering NGOs) for the governorates of (Basra, Muthanna and Maysan) in the Siraj Al-Ma'rifa Hall in Basra for three days, January 23-25, 2025.
The head of Ishraqat Development Organization, Thaer Abdulkhaleq Al-Abadi, attended the workshop, which addressed a number of topics, the most important of which are: legal frameworks for forming associations, reasons for the weak access of NGOs to funding due to restrictions imposed by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) Recommendation No. (
. The workshop also addressed: the importance of risk assessment, which plays a crucial role in decision-making by helping organizations anticipate challenges, prioritize risks and allocate resources effectively.

The workshop also reviewed experiences and models from countries around the world according to different mechanisms, and opportunities to benefit from studying them and drawing inspiration from their experiences. It also discussed advocacy tactics and developing participation mechanisms for non-governmental organizations. It also discussed the functions and challenges of the advocacy process and building effective participation techniques in society. The workshop participants, including heads and representatives of non-governmental organizations, exchanged their experiences and expertise in civil work with others.
