Our organization’s team is carrying out awareness campaigns within the activities of the project (“Climate Resilience in Iraq: Strengthening Adaptation Strategies and Mitigating the Impacts of Climate Change”), carried out by the Ishraqat Development Organization (IDO) and funded by the Canadian Embassy in Iraq, the Canadian Fund for Local Initiatives (FCIL/CFLI). It targets areas Many in Al-Muthanna Governorate.
Our awareness publications indicated that climate change in Iraq not only affects the agricultural sector, but also represents a serious threat to basic human rights, creates obstacles to sustainable development, and exacerbates the environmental, security, political, and economic challenges facing the country.
