منظمة اشراقات للتنمية ( IDO) وبتمويل من السفارة الكندية في العراق ( الصندوق الكندي للمبادرات المحلية ( FCIL/CFLI ), وبالتعاون مع مديرية زراعة محافظة المثنى تقيم ورشتها التدريبية الثالثة بعنوان (بناء القدرات في مجال الممارسات الزراعية الذكية مناخياً ) ضمن مشروع ("المرونة المناخية في العراق: تعزيز استراتيجيات التكيف والتخفيف من آثار تغير المناخ") لفلاحي قضاء الخضر منطقة البديري بتاريخ 11 كانون الأول ديسمبر2023 , بحضور( 25 فلاح ) وبحضور مدير زراعة محافظة المثنى ( واثق منصور حمود ) وكادر المشروع .
حيث قام المهندس الزراعي ميثم محمد كاظم بإدارة الورشة وطرح عدد من المحاور عن موضوع الزراعة المستدامة واستخدام التقنيات الذكية لتقليل الضرر الناتج عن المكننة القديمة التي تؤثر سلباً على البيئة والمناخ .
وتطرقت الورشة , الى استخدام تقنية (التسوية الليزيرية) وفائدتها للفلاح والمحاصيل , كذلك توفير المبازل في عدد من المقاطعات , والتي تساهم في زيادة الإنتاجية من جهة , وتقلل اثار التغير المناخي من جهة أخرى عبر زيادة الرقعة الزراعية وتقليل استهلاك مياه الري .
The Ishraqat Development Organization (IDO), with funding from the Canadian Embassy in Iraq (the Canadian Fund for Local Initiatives (FCIL/CFLI), and in cooperation with the Muthanna Governorate Agriculture Directorate, is holding its third training workshop entitled (Capacity Building in the Field of Climate-Smart Agricultural Practices) within the “Climate Resilience” project. In Iraq: “Strengthening strategies for adaptation and mitigation of the effects of climate change” for farmers of Al-Khader District, Al-Budayri District, on December 11, 2023, in the presence of (25 farmers), and the Director of Agriculture of Al-Muthanna Governorate (Wathiq Mansour Hammoud) and the project staff were also present.
The agricultural engineer Maitham Muhammad Kazem ran the workshop and presented a number of topics on the topic of sustainable agriculture and the use of smart technologies to reduce the damage resulting from old mechanization that negatively affects the environment and climate.
The workshop touched on the use of laser leveling technology and its benefit to the farmer and the crops, as well as the provision of sewers in a number of provinces, which contribute to increasing productivity on the one hand, and reducing the effects of climate change on the other hand by increasing the agricultural area and reducing irrigation water consumption.
