منظمة اشراقات للتنمية تنظم ورشة تدريبية للمزارعين في الشنابرة حول الممارسات الزراعية الذكية مناخياً
في إطار مشروع ( المرونة المناخية في العراق: تعزيز استراتيجيات التكيف والتخفيف من آثار تغير المناخ) ، الذي تنفذه منظمة اشراقات للتنمية ( IDO) بتمويل من السفارة الكندية في العراق ( الصندوق الكندي للمبادرات المحلية ( FCIL/CFLI ) ، وبالتعاون مع مديرية زراعة محافظة المثنى ، أقيمت يوم الأحد الموافق 3 ديسمبر 2023 ، ورشة تدريبية للمزارعين في منطقة الشنابرة بمحافظة المثنى ، بعنوان (بناء القدرات في مجال الممارسات الزراعية الذكية مناخياً) ، بهدف تعزيز الزراعة المستدامة وزيادة الإنتاجية والجودة والأمن الغذائي ، وتحسين القدرة على التكيف مع التغيرات المناخية.
شارك في الورشة ، التي استمرت لمدة ثلاث ساعات ، عدداً من المزارعين من المنطقة ، فضلاً عن حضور مدير زراعة محافظة المثنى السيد ( واثق منصور حمود ) وكادر المشروع ، وقام بتدريبهم المهندس الزراعي ( ميثم محمد كاظم ) ، الذي قدم لهم محاور تدريبية متنوعة ، تناولت الجوانب النظرية والعملية للزراعة الذكية مناخياً.
وفي نهاية الورشة ، أكد المشاركون على أهمية مثل هذه الورشات التدريبية في رفع مستوى الوعي والمهارات الزراعية ، وتبادل الخبرات والمعلومات ، وتوصلوا إلى عدة توصيات وخطوات عملية لتطبيق الممارسات الزراعية الذكية مناخياً في حقولهم.
Ishraqat Organization organizes a training workshop for farmers in Shanabra on climate-smart agricultural practices
Within the framework of the project (Climate Resilience in Iraq: Strengthening Adaptation Strategies and Mitigation of the Impacts of Climate Change), implemented by the Ishraqat Development Organization (IDO) with funding from the Canadian Embassy in Iraq (Canadian Fund for Local Initiatives (FCIL/CFLI), and in cooperation with the Muthanna Governorate Agriculture Directorate On Sunday, December 3, 2023, a training workshop was held for farmers in the Shanabra area in Al-Muthanna Governorate, entitled (Capacity Building in the Field of Climate-Smart Agricultural Practices), with the aim of promoting sustainable agriculture, increasing productivity, quality and food security, and improving the ability to adapt to climate change.
A number of farmers from the region participated in the workshop, which lasted for three hours, in addition to the presence of the Director of Agriculture of Al-Muthanna Governorate, Mr. Watheq Mansour Hammoud, and the project staff. They were trained by the agricultural engineer (Maytham Muhammad Kazem), who provided them with various training topics, covering Theoretical and practical aspects of climate-smart agriculture.
At the end of the workshop, the participants stressed the importance of such training workshops in raising the level of agricultural awareness and skills, exchanging experiences and information, and came up with several recommendations and practical steps to implement climate-smart agricultural practices in their fields.
