مشاركة منظمتنا في اجتماع مناقشة مع السيد غلام محمد اسحق ، نائب الممثلة الخاصة للأمين العام للأمم المتحدة ومنسق الأمم المتحدة المقيم ومنسق الشؤون الإنسانية في العراق، في ديوان محافظة المثنى ، بحضور ممثلي منظمات المجتمع المدني في محافظة المثنى ، وحضر الاجتماع عدد من ممثلي الوكالات التابعة للامم المتحدة ، ومدير واعضاء مكتب شؤون المنظمات غير الحكومية في المحافظة ، ناقش الحاضرين : مقترحات للتعاون والشراكة بين الامم المتحدة والحكومة المحلية ومنظمات المجتمع المدني ، وناقض رئيس منظمة اشراقات للتنمية : موضوع التغيرات المناخية وتاثيرها على السكان ، وتعزيز قدرات الشباب من اجل اقامة انشطة ومشاريع صغيرة في مجال الطاقة المتجددة ، وخاصة الطاقة الشمسية ، ودعم وكالات الامم المتحدة للشباب في هذا المجال ، لتمكينهم من اجل رفع درجة الوعي المجتمعي بضرورة ترشيد الاستهلاك للطاقة التي تعتمد على الوقود الاحفوري ، والذي يعد من مسببات زيادة ظاهرة الاحتباس الحراري ، وزيادة في الانبعاثات الكاربونية ، مما يؤثر على عناصر البيئة : المياه ، التربة ، البشر ، والتحديات البئية الاخرى لاسيما ، الجفاف والتصحر .

The attendees discussed: proposals for cooperation and partnership between the United Nations, local government and civil society organizations, and the head of the Ishraqat Organization for Development discussed: the issue of climate change and its impact on the population, and strengthening the capabilities of youth in order to establish activities and small projects in The field of renewable energy, especially solar energy, and the support of United Nations agencies for youth in this field, to enable them to raise the degree of societal awareness of the need to rationalize the consumption of energy that depends on fossil fuels, which is one of the causes of increasing global warming and an increase in carbon emissions, which affects On the elements of the environment: water, soil, people, and other environmental challenges, especially drought and desertification.
