وجه مكتب دولة رئيس الوزراء الاستاذ محمد شياع السوداني المحترم دعوة لعدد من المنظمات الغير حكومية والفرق التطوعية في محافظة المثنى ، الى اجتماع مع الفريق الحكومي ، حيث مثل منظمتنا الانسة هدى كاظم و الأنسة اية كاظم ، حيث عقد الاجتماع بتاريخ ٣١ تموز - يوليو /٢٠٢٣ ، على قاعة مديرية التخطيط في محافظة المثنى .
حيث اشار الفريق الحكومي الى ان : محافظة المثنى تلقى اهتمام كبير من قبل دولة رئيس الوزراء الاستاذ محمد شياع السوداني المحترم والفريق الحكومي من اجل تطوير حركة الخدمات العامة والاقتصاد المحلي وتخفيف مستويات الفقر عبر برامج حكومية فعالة تهدف الى خدمة المواطن وتحسين الحياة العامة.واضاف الفريق أنه : ضمن حملات عمل فريق التواصل الحكومي التعاون مع جمعية الهلال الاحمر باقامة حملات صحية في المحافظات لمواجهة التغير المناخي وتقليل تاثيره في المناطق الهشة اقتصاديا.فيما اشارت ممثلة منظمتنا ( هدى كاظم ) الى عدد من المشاكل التي تمس المجتمع المحلي في المحافظة ، وطرح عدد من المقترحات لحلها ومنها : 
:- تمكين المرأة الريفية : حيث تؤدي المرأة العاملة دورا مهما في الانشطة الزراعية وبسبب شحة المياه في السنين الاخيرة اضافة الى صعوبة بيع وشراء المنتجات الزراعية وصعوبة الحصول على الخدمات الزراعة الحديثة والتمويل الداعم لها فقد تراجع نشاط المرأة واثر ذلك على تمكينها الاقتصادي.
واقترحت ممثلة منظمتنا : انه من اجل تمكين المرأة العاملة في الانتاج الزراعي والحيواني يجب توفير الدعم المالي والارشادي لها. والوصول الى مناطق سكناها ، وعليه فأن تقديم الخدمات الارشادية في مجال الانشطة الزراعية وخاصة في ادخال واستخدام المكننة الحديثة وتوفير الحد الادنى من التمويل لغرض دعم المرأة العاملة وعودتها الى نشاطها ومساهمتها في تحسين الانتاج والذي سينعكس على المستوى المعيشي وبالتالي سيسهم في التكيف مع التغير المناخي بزيادة الانتاج الزراعي والمساحات الخضراء.
:- تقليل الانبعاثات ودعم الطاقة النظيفة :-دعماً لجهود الحكومة العراقية في تقليل الانبعاثات و تعزيز الوعي بأستخدام الطاقة النظيفة , كانت منظمتنا ممثلا لمحافظة المثنى في دورة تدريب خاصة للشباب ذكور واناث , عن الطاقة الشمسية وكيفية تأسيس مشاريع ريادية للشباب في مجال الطاقة الشمسية .
واشارت ممثلتنا : المجتمع بحاجة ماسة لهذه الأنشطة دعما للشباب وتعزيز لجهود الحكومة العراقية في رفع الوعي المجتمعي بتقليل الانبعاثات الكاربونية والتي توؤثر على تغير المناخ في العراق عموماً . 
:- ظاهرة المخدرات :- المجتمع المحلي في محافظة المثنى , يعاني من ظاهرة انتشار المخدرات , وبالرغم من الجهود المتواصلة الأمنية في القضاء على هذه الظاهرة.
و وضحت الانسة هدى : اننا بحاجة الى زيادة الوعي بمخاطر التعاطي والادمان , عن طريق الفرق الميدانية الصحية والمجتمعية , كذلك للأعلام دور بارز في مكافحة هذه الظاهرة بالتعاون مع الجهات الرسمية . 
:- هجرة السكان بسبب التغيرات المناخية :- ولكون محافظة المثنى , ثاني اكبر محافظة في العراق وتمتد على مساحة 51000 كم2 , وتقع المحافظة ضمن اقليم المناخ الصحراوي الجاف ،
اضافت ممثلتنا : أن نتيجة للتغيرات المناخية التي اثرت على المحافظة حيث ارتفعت درجات الحرارة العظمى احيانا الى (50) درجة مئوية خلال اشهر الصيف , و مع شحة المياه والجفاف، تتفاقم ظاهرة هجرة السكان بحثاً عن موارد وحياة أفضل، بعد تقلص مساحات الأراضي الزراعية , حيث برزت أزمة الجفاف بشكل جلي في العراق، وتفاقمت الأزمة مؤخرا عبر فقدان أغلب المحافظات لمساحاتها الزراعية.The Office of the Prime Minister, the respected Mr. Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani, invited a number of non-governmental organizations and volunteer teams in Al-Muthanna Governorate, to a meeting with the government team, where our organization was represented by Miss Huda Kazem and Miss Aya Kazem, where the meeting was held on July 31 / 2023, On the hall of the Planning Directorate in Muthanna Governorate.
Where the government team indicated that: Al-Muthanna Governorate received great attention from the honorable Prime Minister, Mr. Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, and the government team in order to develop the movement of public services and the local economy and reduce poverty levels through effective government programs aimed at serving the citizen and improving public life.
The team added that: As part of the government communication team's work campaigns, it cooperated with the Red Crescent Society by setting up health campaigns in the governorates to confront climate change and reduce its impact in economically fragile areas.
While the representative of our organization (Huda Kazem) referred to a number of problems affecting the local community in the governorate, and put forward a number of proposals to solve them, including:
First: Empowering rural women:
Where working women play an important role in agricultural activities and due to the scarcity of water in recent years, in addition to the difficulty of buying and selling agricultural products and the difficulty of obtaining modern agricultural services and financing supporting it, the activity of women has declined and this has affected their economic empowerment.
The representative of our organization suggested: In order to empower women working in agricultural and animal production, financial and extension support must be provided to them. And access to her areas of residence, and accordingly, providing extension services in the field of agricultural activities, especially in the introduction and use of modern mechanization and providing a minimum amount of funding for the purpose of supporting working women and their return to their activity and their contribution to improving production, which will be reflected in the standard of living and thus contribute to adapting to climate change by increasing production agricultural and green spaces.
Second: Reducing emissions and supporting clean energy:
In support of the Iraqi government's efforts to reduce emissions and promote awareness of the use of clean energy, our organization was a representative of the Muthanna Governorate in a special training course for young men and women, on solar energy and how to establish pilot projects for youth in the field of solar energy.
Our representative indicated: The community is in dire need of these activities in support of youth and the reinforcement of the Iraqi government's efforts to raise community awareness of reducing carbon emissions, which affect climate change in Iraq in general.
Third: The drug phenomenon:
The local community in Al-Muthanna governorate suffers from the phenomenon of the spread of drugs, despite the continuous security efforts to eliminate this phenomenon.
Miss Huda explained: We need to raise awareness of the dangers of abuse and addiction, through health and community field teams, as well as the media have a prominent role in combating this phenomenon in cooperation with official authorities.
Fourth and last: Population migration due to climate change:
And since Al-Muthanna Governorate is the second largest governorate in Iraq and extends over an area of 51,000 km2, the governorate is located within the dry desert climate region.
Our representative added: As a result of the climatic changes that affected the governorate, where the maximum temperatures sometimes rose to (50) degrees Celsius during the summer months, and with the scarcity of water and drought, the phenomenon of population migration in search of resources and a better life, after shrinking the areas of agricultural lands, is exacerbated. The drought crisis has clearly emerged in Iraq, and the crisis has recently been exacerbated by the loss of most of the provinces of their agricultural areas.
