حضور منظمة اشراقات للتنمية أحد اعضاء فريق تعزيز الدميقراطية في محافظة المثنى المؤتمر الختامي لبرنامج تعزيز الدميقراطية الممول من جمعية الأمل العراقية ومنظمة مساعدات الشعب النرويجي وكانت التوصيات التوصيات الاتية :١. ضرورة نشر الوعي بين الموطنين باهمية ترشيد استهلاك المياه للشرب وللري.٢. تطوير أساليب الري ومغادرة الأساليب القديمة في الري التي تستهلك كميات كبيرة من المياه والانتقال الى الري بالتنقيط والرش.٣. مشاركة المجتمعات المحلية مع الحكومة المحلية للضغط على الحكومة الاتحادية لمنع تجاوز المحافظات على حصة محافظة المثنى المائية.٤. إيجاد الطرق المناسبة لتخليص نهر الفرات من الملوحة العالية من خلال تحويل المبازل التي تصب في النهر.
The Ishraqat Organization for Development, a member of the Democracy Promotion Team in Al-Muthanna Governorate, attended the final conference of the Democracy Promotion Program funded by the Iraqi Al-Amal Association and the Norwegian People’s Aid Organization. The recommendations were the following: 1. The need to spread awareness among citizens of the importance of rationalizing water consumption for drinking and irrigation. Developing irrigation methods and leaving the old methods of irrigation that consume large amounts of water and moving to drip and sprinkler irrigation. The participation of local communities with the local government to put pressure on the federal government to prevent the governorates from exceeding the Muthanna governorate’s share of water. Finding suitable ways to rid the Euphrates River of high salinity by diverting the drains that flow into the river.
