مدير مكتب حركة إرادة في المثنى طرح عدة نقاط للمناقشة أهمها :-
1- أغلب النساء أكدن وبشكل صريح على أهمال
دور المرأة في الريف من قبل الحكومة والمجتمع المدني .
2- التبعية العشائرية وثقافة المجتمع أدت
الى ضعف مشاركة النساء الريفيات في الأنتخابات الأخيرة .
3- غالبية نساء المنطقة من ربات البيوت
واغلبهن لم يحصلن على شهادة المتوسطة .
4- المناطق الريفية تعاني من ضغف في الخدمات مما أثر سلباً على واقع
المراة الريفية .

Iraqi Al-Amal Association and the Norwegian People's Aid Organization, Ishraqat
for Development is implementing dialogue sessions and activities for the
project to revitalize the role of women in democratic participation
Dialogue session (2)
A dialogue session hosted by Ms. Zahraa Jamil Al-Mayali, director of the Irada
Movement office in Al-Muthanna. Several points were raised for discussion, the
most important of which are:
1-
Most of the women
explicitly emphasized the neglect of the role of women in the countryside by
the government and civil society.
2-
Clan dependence
and community culture led to poor participation of rural women in the recent
elections.
3-
The majority of
women in the region are housewives, and most of them did not obtain an
intermediate certificate.
4-
Rural areas
suffer from a lack of services, which negatively affected the reality of rural
women.
